Privacy Policy

Who we are

WearTryOn (weartryon.com) is run by an independent developer, who is the controller of your personal data; “we” and “us” below mean that developer. For anything about your data, email support@weartryon.com.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run the service:

• Photos you upload (of yourself or of clothing) and the images we generate from them.
• Account details for sign-in, which is required to generate results: your email address, name and profile picture from Google.
• Usage and billing records: credits earned and spent, plan, daily check-ins, and generation history.
• Technical data needed for security and operation, including network request information and logs of generation status, timing and errors.
• Analytics data, only if you allow it: pages visited, approximate region, device and browser details, referring source, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling.
• Small items stored in your browser, such as your theme choice.

Your photos

We process your uploaded photos to generate the try-on you requested and to perform automated safety checks. Uploads and generated results are checked for prohibited content; refused generations do not become usable results.

We do not use your uploads or results to train AI models or publish them in public galleries. Images are sent to the providers listed below when necessary for generation and safety checks. You choose whether to download or share a result.

The AI Outfit Rater sends your photo to an AI model on Cloudflare Workers AI to score it, then discards it; the photo is not written to our storage. It can be used without an account, so we count ratings per day using a keyed hash of your network address, never the address itself.

The glasses try-on tracks your face in your browser; the camera video is not sent to us. A still is sent only when you ask for an AI photo or a vote link.

Vote links are the one place your images are shown to others, and only when you create one: the looks you pick are visible to anyone you give the link to. Visitors vote without an account; we store one vote per browser using a hash of a random cookie, never the visitor’s identity.

The preset models and clothing samples provided by WearTryOn are public examples. Results made entirely from these site-provided presets may be cached and reused; those cached examples contain no personal image uploaded by you.

How long we keep things

You can ask us to delete your results or account by emailing support@weartryon.com. We will handle the request subject to applicable legal and record-keeping obligations.

• Uploaded photos: we attempt to delete temporary processing copies when the generation finishes or fails. Their signed access links expire after 10 minutes and also stop working when the job is no longer pending. If cleanup fails, an inaccessible copy may remain in storage.
• Private results made from personal uploads: access expires 30 days after generation. Saving a result to your closet does not extend this period. Download anything you want to keep. After access expires, an inaccessible storage copy may remain; the 30-day window does not guarantee physical deletion on that date.
• Outfit ratings: for signed-in users we keep the score, occasion and a one-line summary (no image) as your style log, until you ask us to delete your account. For visitors without an account we keep only a daily count tied to the hashed network address.
• Vote links: the shared images and votes are kept until you delete the link on its page or 30 days pass, after which the link stops working and an inaccessible storage copy may remain until cleanup. Deleting a link removes its images from our storage.
• Public preset results: may be retained and reused as cached examples instead of following the private-result access period.
• Account, credit, generation and billing records: stored to operate your account, prevent duplicate charges, handle support and refunds, and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Image expiry does not automatically delete these records.

Services that process data for us

These services help provide WearTryOn. Providers process the data they receive under their own applicable policies and service terms; this policy does not promise a particular provider retention period or training practice.

• Cloudflare: hosting, account and credit storage, private image storage, AI generation and additional image safety checks.
• SeeAPI: automated NSFW checks on uploaded photos and generated results. The provider receives image access needed to perform those checks.
• Google: account sign-in and, if you allow analytics, Google Analytics. Google provides your profile information to WearTryOn when you authorize sign-in.
• Creem: payment processing for purchases made through Creem, where Creem is the merchant of record. Creem also checks the server-generated instructions used for try-ons for prohibited content. Those checks do not include your uploaded images or email address.
• PayPal: payment processing when you choose PayPal. PayPal receives the order or subscription information needed to process your payment, including a reference ID and, for subscriptions, your account email. We keep payment and subscription identifiers, amounts and statuses for credit delivery, refunds and support. We never see or store full card numbers from either payment provider.
• Email services: processing messages you send to support and our replies.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and browser storage that the site needs to work: keeping you signed in and remembering your theme. These essential items do not require analytics consent.

If you choose “Got it” on the cookie notice, Google Analytics 4 uses first-party cookies and limited technical data to help us measure traffic and improve the service. We disable advertising personalization and Google Signals, and we do not send Google your photos, generated results, form entries, account identity or payment details. Declining analytics cookies does not limit any WearTryOn feature.

Until you choose, analytics cookies stay off. You can allow or decline them below at any time; “Cookie settings” in the footer links here. Declining stops future analytics collection on this browser and removes the Google Analytics cookies we can reach; you can also clear your browser storage.

Your rights

You can contact us to request access, correction, export or deletion of your data, or to object to its processing. Email support@weartryon.com from the address on your account so we can verify the request. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. Your local law may provide additional rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Age limit

WearTryOn is for people aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and photos that appear to show a minor are refused.

Security and transfers

The site and provider connections use HTTPS. Application access to personal results is restricted to the owning account, and temporary processing images require expiring signed links. Our providers may process data in other countries under their applicable policies and terms.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date below and, for signed-in users, tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.
